How Cool Is Blogging?

I’m going to tell you about my first experience with having a web-site.

It happened about ten years ago. The internet was in its semi-infancy and I had decided that I wanted to get with the program and bring my excellence to the world. I found a web-designer, got him to build me what I thought was a cool site, and I was away.

The only problem was it cost me a crazy amount of money – something like £200 for what I can now do today in a matter of minutes…

Back in the day it was a nightmare. You had to get a web-designing gatekeeper to upload anything, and every little thing he or she did cost you. Now? It couldn’t be more different. Writers and artists are all in charge of their own destiny. Well, as much as a person can be in a world that seems to work as much on luck as it does on talent.

Now, I can change my blog theme in a matter of seconds, or link to another totally different blog with ease. It’s all free, of course, and that’s surely the best part isn’t it?

It doesn’t matter whether you run a Plumbers London blog or one which needs a forum added to it. All these things and more are possible, so be sure to take advantage!
